In our continuous effort to improve our Customer Care offerings, we are excited to announce our new System Health Check monitoring service to all our Gold-, Silver- and Bronze-tier customers.

By monitoring the log files on your Quintiq server on a regular basis, the System Health Check monitoring is designed to prevent small issues from becoming critical problems. Using tools originally developed for use by Quintiq R&D and support engineers, the Quintiq System Health Check enables Quintiq engineers to make a non-intrusive audit of your system using diagnostic and performance information. This offers you the opportunity to proactively improve the quality of your Quintiq solution to maximize availability and uptime.

Step 1:
The System Health Scan allows Quintiq engineers to produce a brief synoptic ‘Health Score’ as an indication of the condition of the system, highlighting only the most critical or most important system diagnostic messages. Carried out at regular, agreed intervals, the Health Score will provide you with a continuing record of how stable your system is and how it adapts to the changing circumstances of your application environment.

Step 2:
If the Health Scan gives early indications that the system is experiencing problems or identifies potential problems, we will notify you to initiate a Preventative Value Scan. This is an in-depth diagnostic of your system, focusing on the areas identified by the Health Scan. Based on the results of the Preventative Value Scan, Quintiq engineers will make recommendations for improving the health of your system. We will discuss these recommendations with you and secure your agreement on the improvement actions to be taken.

Step 3:
The agreed actions are addressed through discrete projects, affording you the visibility of milestones, progress, activities and results.

How to enroll:
Quintiq offers the Quintiq System Health Check as part of our standard support and maintenance program. The System Health Check monitoring will be conducted on a daily, monthly or half-yearly basis, depending on the support and maintenance level you have opted for.
