WEBINAR

Delivering cost effectiveness with optimized crew diagramming

This webinar took place on October 1, 2015. If you would like to watch the recording, please register on the right.

Best practice crew diagramming delivers optimal cost-effectiveness and efficiency in a fraction of the time taken by conventional crew diagramming systems. Due to the magnitude of the problem, even a modest decrease in the number of crew diagrams can have a significant impact on your bottom line.

Best practice crew diagramming is key to:

  • Minimizing operating costs
  • Maximizing productivity
  • Optimizing employee satisfaction

Better crew diagramming also results in a more robust plan that will improve customer satisfaction. By placing slack strategically (e.g. additional time between crew assignments), you are able to minimize the effects of disruptions.

Join our expert, Linda Veldhuizen, for a webinar on delivering cost-effectiveness with optimized crew diagramming.

We will explore how you can create crew diagrams that minimize your costs while taking into account:

  • Business rules and constraints
  • Your business KPIs
  • Various crew types

Also learn how you can add slack time to robust crew diagrams in order to prevent potential disruptions.

You may register now for our second webinar on rolling stock planning on October 15 too. Registration for the final webinar of this series – ‘Getting the competitive advantage in franchise bidding’ – will be open soon.
